By land or by sea, It is easy to visit Dana Point Harbor located midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, just south of Laguna Beach. Access to the harbor is easy whether you're coming from Pacific Coast Hwy, Golden Lantern, the Beach Cities exit from the 5 freeway, or coming in on a boat; All lead straight to the Dana Point Harbor. Parking throughout the Dana Point Harbor is complimentary. When joining us at the Harbor Grill it is most convenient to park in the Mariners Village Parking lot. The Mariners Village lot is the first lot on the right hand side when you enter the harbor on Golden Lantern. The Harbor Grill is located 2 buildings to the right of El Torito.


Friday night starting at 4:30pm there is complimentary valet parking available for all harbor visitors. Currently valet is only available Friday nights.

The valet stand is located in front of El Torito Restaurant.

Complete harbor facilities include guest slips, launch ramps, fuel dock, shipyard, boat rentals, yacht sales and instruction, fishing, all year bait receiver, harbor cruises, windsurfing, jet skiing, certified dive charters, two yacht clubs, a sailing association, picnicking and a baby beach for young swimmers. The Harbor has one hotel, the Marina Inn. Intriguing shops are loaded with unexpected treasures. Visitors discover custom-designed jewelry and Indian artifacts, art collectibles, special cards, hand-formed chocolates, unique gifts, toiletries, fragrant oils, designer perfumes and sunglasses, ecologically sound gifts, leisure clothing for men and women, a beauty salon, trinkets, T-shirts, international coffees and teas, quality ice cream and restaurants to please every palate.

Dana Point Harbor is the home of the tallships "Pilgrim" and the "Pride of Dana Point", as well as the Ocean Institute and the Dana Point Youth & Group Facility both offering a wide variety of programs. Dana Wharf Sportfishing offers the best fishing trips in Southern California. Their fishing fleet awaits you for a half-day, full day or twilight deep-sea fishing party. Dana Point is also the home of the "Festival of Whales". Whale Watching is available through several harbor businesses from December through March.


The Harbor houses two Marinas which have about 2,500 boat slips. There are ample guest slips available through the Marina At Dana Point for the cruiser or trailer boater. From the launch facility, it is only a short five minutes to the ocean. Also available in the Harbor is an all year bait receiver, Dana Point Fuel Dock, Dana Point Shipyard and marine hardware stores. The shipyard has a 30 ton crane and a 50 ton travel lift enabling them to lift up a 70 foot boat into dry dock. There are do it yourself areas as well as expert full service. Excellent and speedy inflatable boat and outboard engine sales, service and repairs are available in the Harbor as well. There are four boat brokers in the Harbor as well as two yacht clubs and the Aventura Sailing Association. Small powerboats, sailboats and jet skis may be rented for the day. Charters on larger boats are available too.


One will find every style and every taste represented in the shops in Dana Wharf, Mariners Village and Mariners Alley. From dressy and classic to T-shirts, bathing suits, and beachwear.....you'll see it all in the "ship to chic" clothes that will catch your fancy. You'll also find jewelry, unique gifts, handmade chocolates, fine ice cream, trinkets, special cards, apparel, Indian art and housewares in the 25 shops found at the Harbor.
